Curated projects for FINH

1. Youth Disability Advocacy Services

Project completed at Today.

The Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS) is an advocacy organisation that works with disabled young people who are aged 12 to 25.

Disabled young people often struggle to access the correct services for themselves in order to live their life to the fullest. There is inadequate support for the disabled young community to transition into the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Today were engaged to translate one of their existing in person “Map Your Future” workshops into an online learning tool.

Collaborating with senior designers, I assisted in developing the brand identity, illustrating PECS icons, wireframing and participating in co-design workshops to deliver a cohesive and thoroughly accesible online program.

2. Consumer Data Rights

Project completed at Today.

The Consumer Data Right (CDR) initiative empowers Australian consumers by providing them with the ability to safely access and control their data.

This project involved designing and developing a brand-new website for the CDR, aimed at offering a user-friendly platform that educates users about their data rights and facilitates the secure exchange of information. With no existing online presence, it was crucial to create a platform that would immediately engage users, encourage interaction, and build trust in the CDR initiative.

My role involved supporting the broader design team to deliver a clear and concise website that handles complex information.

3. Victorian Ombudsman

Project completed at Today.

The Victorian Ombudsman (VO) plays a vital role in ensuring Australia’s public services stay accountable. Today had the opportunity to deliver a redesigned digital service to support a sector-leading service experience where complaints are transformed into change.

Through co-design workshops with the general public and the public service, Today mapped the service journey of different audiences, including emotions, and identified areas of opportunity.

The new Victorian Ombudsman site is striking in its clarity of design and purpose. The user-first, evidence-based design works to meet the needs of Victorians in providing a platform that contributes to the improvement of public services, free from ambiguity.

I assisted with the user interface design, working with senior designers to build out a design system that was robust and adaptable to different sizes.

4. Netwealth

Project completed with Studio MASS

Studio MASS case study

Netwealth is an Australian financial services company that provides a range of investment and wealth management products. Their platform offers tools and services for financial advisers, investors, and institutions, enabling them to manage and grow wealth efficiently.

MASS were engaged to redesign the platform to improve usability, streamline the interface and reduce the challenges of a heavy content-driven digital product to serve the needs of Netwealth’s diverse user base.

I assisted the lead designer with redesigning the Activites page across mobile and desktop. Aligning with the existing design system created by the team, I developed reusable modules that allowed financial advisors and clients to approve/decline transacations, withdraw money and pay bills.
